Marie-Ève Hurteau is an artist who likes to explore different mediums, subjects and styles. However, she favors the realization of portraits, whether animal or human, a field in which her visual language is increasingly asserting itself. Her style is characterized by the use of more pronounced abstractions and white frames, which structure and energize her compositions. Her main influences include Dimitra Milan, Laurie Marois, Elli Milan and Tahlia Johnson, while among the great masters she is particularly fond of Van Gogh and Monet.
