Beneath

My exploration of neurodiversity began within my own family. As I sought to better understand those I love, I gradually came to recognize some of these differences in myself. This discovery led me to view neurodiversity not only through its challenges, but also through its strengths and sensitivities. The swan represents the invisible efforts. On the surface, it appears to glide calmly and effortlessly. Yet, beneath the water, its legs are constantly working to propel it forward. An image that reminds us that what seems simple to some may require an enormous amount of energy for others. Through *Beneath*, I want to bring to light these efforts that we don’t always notice—adaptation, perseverance, and all the inner work hidden behind an apparent tranquility.
