Artwork Description

My exploration of neurodiversity began within my own family. As I sought to better understand those I love, I gradually came to recognize some of these differences in myself. This discovery led me to view neurodiversity not only through its challenges, but also through its strengths and sensitivities. The rabbit represents hypervigilance. Always alert, it perceives the slightest movement, the faintest sound, and the tiniest change around it. This constant sensitivity can be exhausting, but it also allows one to notice what others do not see. Through the rabbit, I want to depict this way of experiencing the world with heightened senses—intensely, attentively, differently. This artwork comes with a natural-colored frame
