This work depicts the tension between control and abandonment in the act of painting, through a composition in which the image gradually emerges from the interplay between the medium and chance. The traces, splatters, and fragmentary forms evoking a kiss graphically embody the encounter between perception and imagination, where the gaze reconstructs a presence from scattered elements. By suggesting a possible relationship without ever depicting a specific scene, the work captures how a painterly accident can convey an emotional dimension.
