This work explores the relationship between chance and intention in the act of painting, through a composition created without direct contact between the gesture and the surface. Splatters, traces of material, indirect movements, and emerging forms graphically embody the tension between control and letting go, where each mark becomes the result of a movement rather than a deliberate stroke. By revealing forms that might evoke a rose without ever imposing it, the work captures the way an image can arise from chance and take shape through the viewer’s interpretation.
