The perfect home

The Perfect Home was born from a commissioned painting for a friend. She simply said to me, "Imagine the perfect home for me." She worked in the funeral industry and had a beautiful gothic style. She loved everything that was dark, macabre, and darkly romantic. She gave me complete creative freedom. I immediately imagined this old manor, lost in the middle of a cemetery. Strangely, I didn't find it gloomy at all. Quite the opposite. I found it beautiful and peaceful... Perhaps it would be the perfect home for me too. I even hid a little raccoon in the painting, simply because she loves them. Over time, this painting began to carry a new story within it. Today, it has become the cemetery where Frankie, one of my characters, buries his former best friend in my music video "Je t'ai tué" (I Killed You). I even believe Miss.de Chevigny lives in this old manor. It's strange... some paintings seem to know their destiny long before I do.
