It Bites!

This painting is inspired by childhood memories of when we used to go ice fishing as a family. It’s a very fond memory, like that time we all went together to Les Petits Poissons des Chenaux—with my dad, my mom, my brother, and my grandpa. It was wonderful! Ahhh... Those were the good old days! We caught a lot of fish that evening... At night, out there, the sky was dotted with stars—far more than you can see in Montreal! Because out in the wilderness, the stars shine brighter... This painting is inspired by my grandfather, whom I love so much, and who was one of the first to pass on the flame of artistic inspiration to me.
