Description
Juliet is one half of Rain, a paired work in which two figures are connected by wind, fabric, gesture and changing light. Sheltered beneath her umbrella, she holds a quiet, upright posture while her companion, Romeo, twists through a wider field of fabric and sweeping lines — together the panels balance shelter and exposure, stillness and acceleration. Hand-built in bas-relief on panel, the work moves through distinct light states: in daylight it reads as restrained sculptural relief; under ultraviolet light it shifts into saturated colour and deep shadow. Part of the Signature Series (2026). Available individually or together with Romeo as a pair ($25,000 for both panels).
