Description
A panoramic forest built as a sequence of changing worlds. In this long-form bas-relief landscape, mushrooms, trees, water, carved forms and hidden life share one continuous terrain. The work is designed in three distinct light states. Daylight establishes natural depth and atmosphere. Ultraviolet light activates a second, hidden ecosystem of colour, pathways and organisms. In darkness, a quieter phosphorescent afterimage leaves selected forms suspended in glow. Mixed-media bas-relief with acrylic, UV-reactive and phosphorescent layers. Signature Series (2026). An optional illuminated black-walnut shadowbox — with warm-white and dedicated 365 nm UV lighting and dimmable multi-zone controls — can be fabricated to order. Contact the artist for details.
