Would you tell me?

This work offers a raw depiction of an impossible conversation and relational isolation, through a central character covered in blood on the front of the canvas and an impenetrable figure painted on the back. The white line connecting the brain to the heart, the thick black tears, and the physical separation of these two silhouettes graphically embody the pain of not being heard, the grief of a breakup, and the other’s confinement within their own bubble. By contrasting the distress of this exposed body with the vibrancy of these distinct layers revealed through transparency, the work captures the lingering trace of a broken dialogue in which each person remains trapped within their own reality.
