Everything but Goodbye

This work depicts the clarity that emerges after a breakup, through two eyes suspended in the darkness, whose presence becomes the sole point of reference within a space emptied of all figures. The inscriptions “Anything but goodbye” and “It’s crazy, I see better in the dark,” the emphasized word “BLACK,” and the contrast between the eyes and the dark background graphically embody the refusal to accept absence, the persistence of attachment, and the gradual shift toward a truer understanding of the relationship. By contrasting darkness with the idea of clearer vision, the work captures the paradox of suffering that, once endured, becomes the place where illusions fade away in favor of a new lucidity.
