The Momentum of Motion (2026)

The Momentum of Motion explores the powerful relationship between movement, energy, and the forces that shape our ever-changing experiences. Sweeping arcs of blue and bold black gestures intersect across a luminous field of golden yellow, creating a dynamic composition that feels both spontaneous and deliberate. The circular movement suggests an ongoing rhythm, where energy gathers, expands, and redirects itself in an endless process of transformation. Broad, translucent blue strokes move across the surface with a sense of freedom, while sharper, darker lines introduce structure, tension, and direction. These contrasting gestures create a visual dialogue between control and spontaneity, suggesting that movement is not always linear but often shaped by unexpected intersections and shifting paths. At the center, a quieter space emerges, offering a moment of stillness within the surrounding activity. The Momentum of Motion is about the energy that carries us forward. The painting suggests that progress is not defined by a straight path, but by the accumulation of experiences, choices, and changes that continually reshape our direction. Even within moments of uncertainty, movement persists, reminding us that transformation is both a process and a possibility.
