Not Lost at Sea (2026)

Not Lost at Sea explores the quiet strength found in moments of uncertainty, reflection, and self-discovery. A vast expanse of deep violet and lavender stretches across the sky, meeting the rich blues of the sea at a delicate, uninterrupted horizon. The subtle movement of color suggests shifting emotions and changing circumstances, while the stillness of the composition conveys an underlying sense of calm and reassurance. The contrast between the atmospheric softness of the sky and the textured depth of the water creates a balance between uncertainty and stability. The horizon becomes more than a division between two worlds— it serves as a symbol of direction, possibility, and the quiet confidence that comes from knowing one's place, even when the destination remains unseen. At its heart, Not Lost at Sea is a reflection on resilience, trust, and the ability to find peace within the unknown. The painting reminds us that being surrounded by vastness does not mean being lost. Sometimes, it is in the openness of the journey that we discover our strongest sense of direction.
