suspension of the divine (2024)

This abstract acrylic painting features a rich interplay of blues and greens with hints of white and pale yellow submerged in a thick layer of gloss in hopes to preserve a rare moment in time in which mirth & playfulness are restored unto a previously hopelessvictim. Thick, textured brushstrokes build up layers that suggest depth and fluidity, creating a serene yet dynamic ambiance. The composition’s layered abstraction evokes an organic, almost underwater scene where light subtly penetrates through indistinct shapes, enhancing the sense of movement and translucency.
