This work depicts the beginning of a new relationship between two people who already knew each other but had previously viewed one another negatively. The two figures drawn close together, their faces touching, embody this discovery of a new side to one another, while their distinct expressions and body language remind us that they remain two individuals who are gradually getting to know each other.
