This work offers a representation of pictorial experimentation through an abstract composition built upon the repetition of stamping gestures and layers of paint. The successive impacts, color contrasts, textural reliefs, and splashes of white graphically embody the rhythm, spontaneity, and gradual evolution of the surface. By allowing chance to play a role in the construction of the image, the work conceives of painting as a space for exploration where gesture and material become the true subject of the composition.
