Look at me!

This work depicts dependence on the external gaze and the search for emotional validation through the image of a standing female figure whose body embodies the tension between self-revelation and inner withdrawal. The colors magenta, yellow, and blue, the red line crossing the silhouette, and the black outline that isolates the figure graphically embody the need for recognition, the inner conflict, and the contrast between the projected image and the hidden suffering. By contrasting the luminous intensity of the body with the coldness of the elements surrounding it, the work captures the paradox of an individual who seeks to exist through the eyes of others while remaining disconnected from their own sense of worth.
