Why Me?

This work depicts the pain associated with an emotional breakup and the lingering sense of guilt following the loss of a relationship, through a distorted central figure whose body appears fragmented by an internal fracture. The exposed red heart, the dislocated limbs, the red and gray areas in the background, the vibrant lines around the silhouette, and the crossed-out words graphically embody emotional wounding, emotional exhaustion, and self-doubt in the face of repeated suffering. By contrasting the fragility of a body that seems to be falling apart with the insistent presence of words, the work captures the weight of a rupture in which pain stems not only from loss but also from the relentless search for an explanation.
