Some people shy away from what weighs them down. I tend to draw closer to it. Chaos is material to be worked with. I take a step back. I take my time. I select. The rest follows. After a series of decisions, a different perspective becomes necessary: less caught up in the noise, broader, yet still grounded in reality. In *Perspective*, the vulture embodies that calm elevation that allows one to stay as close as possible to reality without being swallowed up by its density. It waits, observes, chooses, and then approaches what weighs heavily because balance depends on it. Part of the Explore series, the work opens up a perspective capable of discerning the relationships, sequences, and invisible structures that guide choices. It gives form to a way of taking on confusing material, making it manageable, and then regaining control over it. The background remains permeated, shifting, and dense in places, while the figure retains its sharpness and its axis. Perspective transforms the experience into an interpretation: a way of seeing clear enough to move forward with greater awareness.
