My Best Enemy

This work depicts emotional dependence and imbalance within a relationship through two figures whose bodies convey a dynamic of weight, sacrifice, and mutual control. The woman lying on top of the man, the white threads surrounding her, the male figure’s visible exhaustion, and the chaotic splinters in the background graphically embody the emotional burden, the sense of entrapment, and the tension between attachment and suffering. By contrasting the surrender of a body that relies entirely on the other with the fatigue of the one who continues to bear the burden, the work captures the paradox of a relationship in which love gradually becomes a form of constraint.
