The Monster

This work offers a reflection on how the way we view others can transform difference into exclusion. Through two contrasting figures, fragmented inscriptions, and overlapping graphic elements, the composition creates a space of confrontation where points of reference remain unstable. The contrasts between the faces, the words, and the pictorial elements blur the line between identity and judgment, revealing an image in a state of constant tension. By combining portraiture and language, the work questions the mechanisms through which a society constructs its own figures of rejection.
