The Universe Experiencing Itself Through Us #1

This artwork by Lacosin Galerneb presents a visionary style characterized by a complex and colorful composition. Several stylized faces, with fluid contours and vivid hues, intertwine at the center, evoking a multiplicity of identities or states of human consciousness. A central eye, representing the source of all consciousness (and the Universe), is surrounded by geometric shapes and organic patterns. It appears to emit lines that emerge through the eyes of the human figures, illustrating the partial and temporary separation we embody as individual consciousnesses. The fact that these lines emerge through the eyes suggests an experience of reality perceived solely through the senses. In the upper right, a line pierces the third eye of a human figure, illustrating an alternative and complementary way of experiencing reality. Multicolored rays emerge upward through a Möbius strip, suggesting a mental, spiritual, and creative projection of our future. These rays pass through two different points on the strip, but because a Möbius strip has only one side by nature, it mysteriously prevents separation, and the two groups of rays converge on the other side, forming a stylized human figure diving. The dive: a metaphor for an invitation to change. The vibrant palette and abstract forms create a dynamic and introspective atmosphere, characteristic of an altered perception of reality.
