Kali - Ha Ha (War Toys)

Another exploration of myth, pop culture and war by artist Jerre Teague. Kali Ha is a study for a future piece involving multiple panels filled with Dumbo Bombers from his "Fall of Fortress Europe" piece, carpet bombing France on the opening day of Euro Disney, This painting features a blue-skinned, multi-armed female figure in a dynamic, kneeling pose. Her expression is intense, with blood dripping from her mouth, adding a dark tone to the whimsical scene. The background is filled with repeated cartoonish motifs resembling disassembled parts of a classic animated character, rendered in vibrant colors like red, yellow, and green. The composition combines surrealism and maximalism, with a chaotic yet balanced arrangement that evokes a sense of absurdity and underlying tension.
