This work explores the imbalances that can arise when self-sacrifice becomes a constant expectation. The central figure, isolated in a composition marked by stark contrasts, appears to be pierced by painterly gestures that gradually fragment her presence. The bursts of color, the open posture, and the simplified rendering of the body create a tension between openness and self-effacement. By contrasting this vulnerability with the intensity of the medium, the work examines relationships in which generosity ceases to be reciprocal and instead becomes a form of exploitation.
