This work depicts the gradual corruption of the individual by the mechanisms of success, through a central character undergoing transformation, absorbed by an environment that turns his identity into an exploitable surface. With his throat slit, the colorful silhouettes surrounding him, and the chromatic contrasts between orange, red, yellow, and blue, the work graphically embodies the imposed silence, manipulation, and dehumanization of a system that shapes the individual until he is exhausted. By juxtaposing the luminous appearance of success with the character’s inner decay, the work captures the gradual disappearance of authenticity in favor of an identity constructed by expectations, opportunism, and the commodification of the self.
