This work depicts the persistence of attachment and the impossibility of breaking free from absence, through an isolated anatomical heart at the center of the composition, whose presence becomes the focal point of an emotional memory. The irregular black outlines, the smudges of red paint, the fragments of paper, the pencil drawings, and the handwritten inscriptions graphically embody lingering memories, the accumulation of thoughts, and an emotion that continues to inhabit the body despite the breakup. By contrasting the intensity of the heart with the fragmentation of the background, the work captures a state in which the past remains alive, transforming absence into a presence that continues to give rhythm to existence.
