Mourning

This work depicts the loss of innocence and the inner transformation associated with grief through an abstract composition dominated by a black background and a central skeletal form. The blue and red streaks running through the figure, the color contrasts, and the fluid texture graphically embody the tears, memories, and pain that accompany loss. By contrasting the fragility of the central form with the darkness surrounding it, the work captures the transition from a state of childhood to a reality marked by absence and the confrontation with mortality.
