This work explores the questioning of definitions of masculinity and femininity through the study of the human body. The breasts, uterus, body hair, sexual organs, and brain depicted on a clumsy, smudged, and imperfect figure embody the absurdity of trying to reduce identity to physical characteristics. By juxtaposing the appearance of a scientific study with the contradictions of the depicted body, the work questions what truly defines a man or a woman—whether it be biology, social assignment, or identity.
