Dance of Death

This work depicts the continuity of life after death through depictions of the dead dancing together in a vibrantly colored composition. The moving bodies, black silhouettes, and the colors red, orange, yellow, blue, and green embody how those who have passed away continue to exist through our memories, our happiness, and the moments we share in their memory. By contrasting the somber image of death with a festive and colorful scene, the work captures the idea that death brings an end to a life, but cannot prevent that life from continuing through those who remain.
