Knight

This work depicts exploitation and the endless repetition of a task, through a human figure mounted head-on on a skeletal horse. The face reduced to a black hole, the jagged lines full of suffering, and this carcass still in motion graphically embody the total erasure of identity, exhaustion, and the silence imposed within an asymmetrical power dynamic. By contrasting the death of these bodies with the vibrancy of the blazing orange in an empty space, the work captures the lingering trace of labor that continues beyond life, solely because that is what is expected of them.
