Masked Capitalism

I wanted to revisit *Batman & Robin* to show that the myth of the billionaire hero no longer holds up in the world of 2026—a world marked by extreme inequality, the growing privatization of public services, a permanent social crisis, the dominance of big corporations, and the cult of Trump. The dollar sign replaces the heroic emblem, slogans cover the surface, and the streets take back the floor. The mask is no longer a tool of justice: it is capital itself, where wealth presents itself as the solution to the very problems it helps to create.
