This work depicts the transformation of health into a luxury good through an accumulation of colorful pills presented in a jewelry box as if they were precious objects. The tablets arranged in the box, spilling out onto the blue medical sheet, and the chipped pills revealing their raw material graphically embody the commodification of healthcare, the artificial value attributed to treatments, and the contradiction of an object essential to life becoming a product subject to market forces. By contrasting the refined presentation of a piece of jewelry with the vital function of medication, the work captures the paradox of a society where what should be a fundamental need becomes a privilege associated with purchasing power.
