Sheep of Faith

This mixed-media piece uses color and material to open a space of light and healing. Situated between painting and sculpture, the work incorporates a recycled plush sheep — an old stuffed toy — directly into the surface, creating a tangible, three-dimensional presence. Inspired by a childhood memory, the sheep — soft and reassuring — evokes a calming presence and a sense of unconditional love. The recycled textiles, torn and reassembled, suggest wounds and their transformation, like an ongoing process of healing. The luminous bubbles bring lightness and renewal, while the contrast of orange and green enhances the overall vibration of the piece. Moving forward, the sheep embodies a simple yet essential idea: to keep going.
