Why does Montréal need
a space dedicated to its youth?

A missing space

Thousands of arts and music students in Montréal are longing for a stage to perform on. Young artists have talent and ideas, but accessible, welcoming, alcohol-free spaces geared toward youth remain far too rare.

A creative refuge

A café-space where you can create, connect, experiment and simply be yourself. Without the pressure of traditional bars or the snobbish atmosphere of networking events — just a place where ideas naturally blend.

A springboard for emerging artists

Fair pay for artists, accessible equipment, 100% local programming. We give Quebec youth a place to express themselves and grow — the transition from amateur to professional should never happen in precarity.

Our ambitions to transform
Montréal's cultural landscape

Structure the local artistic next generation

By offering a permanent space for experimentation and exhibition, we reduce the precarity of first opportunities.

Pay and professionalize young talent

We create a framework where artists are paid, visible and supported in their development.

Create a healthy and sustainable cultural model

An alcohol-free, inclusive and accessible space that fosters authentic encounters and a solid creative community.

The academic research behind PickArt

The model grew out of a master's thesis by our founder, Dorian Verdier (M.Sc., HEC Montréal, 2024), on the democratization of art among citizens in the digital age, carried out in the lab with UdeM and Tech3Lab.
