Rather than depicting one specific location, the composition draws on travel sketchbooks and memories gathered across different journeys and seasons. Familiar details of Italian coastal life—stacked houses, colourful windows, boats and sunlit architecture—are reassembled into a landscape shaped by imagination rather than geography. It reflects how the places you visit stay with you, gradually merging into a single memory of colour, atmosphere and experience. Created using acrylic, oil and hand-painted collage on canvas, each window, boat and figure was individually painted, cut by hand and layered into the composition, adding texture, depth and a distinctive handcrafted quality.
