Vancouver under the Moonlight

I like outdoor activities especially hiking. Most of the time I just go hiking in solitude thus I am well equipped protectively in the wilderness. One time I came back downhill on foot very late and exhausted. No torch no light but very dark in the forest. Looking vigilantly and circumspectively, with bear awareness, I took a rest just sitting there on the stone step. Taking out two energy bars and water, After eating and resting I recollect myself again. Looking down towards Vancouver, looking up the night sky, OMG! What a beautiful sight! Breathtaking, I just took a picture, closing my eyes trying to memorize the real colors of urban civilization, I am so happy for this visual serendipity. Bang the gong on the trails, I am approaching nearly the foot of Grouse Mountain just a quarter of the altitude left. Human sounds can be heard from afar returning on different trails. Arriving my home safely. Rendered with passion and photographic memory for vivid colors on site rather than photos as reference only, this small piece informs of this adventurous and unforgettable odyssey.
