This work offers a raw depiction of intimate domination and the objectification of the body, through a nude figure depicted from the front on a sheet. The scarlet shapes encircling the limbs and the imprint of a red hand over the mouth graphically embody the control, the loss of self, and the silence imposed within an asymmetrical power dynamic. By contrasting the limp nudity with the vividness of these marks, the work captures the lingering trace of a relationship that reduces the individual to a mere function—a space captured and consumed.
