Artwork Description
*The Quiet That Remains* explores what is left after the noise has passed. Built through layers of colour, texture, scraping and partially obscured marks, the painting holds traces of what came before without fully revealing them. Areas of movement are interrupted by quieter passages, creating a tension between presence and absence, memory and change. Like much of my work, the piece evolved intuitively—I followed the painting rather than beginning with a predetermined destination.
