2026•Street Art
Dimensions : 25 x 36cm | 10 x 14 in
This work explores the paradox of still loving someone whom one knows has been lost. The central face becomes that of a person who now belongs to the past, whose presence remains despite the wounds left by the relationship. The distortions and tears reflect the artist’s own fragility, while the demonic figure reveals a darker side of this person, evoking both their own torments and the harm they may have inflicted. The work thus captures this contradiction between attachment and lucidity, between the desire to see someone again and the awareness that this person can no longer be found as before. The work thus becomes a symbol of an impossible wish: to see someone again whom one continues to love, despite everything that made that relationship destructive.
