This, in my opinion, explains why evil permeates every aspect of our society. Which I used to illustrate how I was able to produce those surrealist-inspired forms. This piece is about the body and memory breaking apart and reassembling under pressure. The torn, layered forms in hot reds, ochres, and burnt orange push against soft fields of lavender and mint, creating tension between violence and calm, block contour lines act like sutures holding the pieces together while exposing the seams, What looks chaotic at first is deliberate: a visual record of how identity, history, emotion fracture and then insist on remaining whole.
