This work explores what remains of a person after they have passed through our lives—when the relationship has ended but certain fragments linger. Administrative records transform this presence into a trace, like a testament to a passage that cannot be completely erased. The crossed-out, covered-up, and altered elements evoke this attempt to hide what once existed, while still revealing the marks of what was experienced. The layers of paint, the scratches, and the erasures convey the memory of a relationship in which certain memories persist despite the passage of time and the desire to move on. The work thus becomes an archive of the people who pass through our lives, leaving behind an imprint that is sometimes as difficult to preserve as it is to erase.
