Peacock with Vibrant Feathers (2026)

This painting features a stylized peacock rendered in vibrant hues of blue, green, pink, and purple. The body of the peacock was painted with water mixable oil and the rest was painted with acrylic. The acrylic was painted alongside the oil, but never crossed it. This painting still requires curing prior to varnish. The composition highlights the bird’s distinctive feather patterns with clean, flowing lines and bold shapes. The dark background is enhanced with shimmering iridescent effects, reflecting the luminous qualities of the coastal environment that influence the artist. The use of varied acrylic textures balances realism with a dreamlike ambiance, showcasing a harmonious blend of graphic clarity and atmospheric depth.
