Memories of Ashes IX

This work depicts a surreal scene in which a human figure in a fetal position, rendered in shades of gray, occupies the foreground. In the background, a massive cargo ship painted in vivid shades of red, yellow, blue, and green contrasts with the dark, misty atmosphere. Black, leafless trees frame the composition, reinforcing a melancholic atmosphere. The technique combines charcoal drawing and painting, creating a rough, textured effect on the surface that accentuates the sense of isolation and heaviness.
