Melissa

In this work, the portrait is constructed through a multitude of geometric shapes and colors that fragment both the figure and her surroundings. The face and silhouette gradually emerge from this highly colorful composition, where the boundaries between the subject and the background become almost nonexistent. The shapes intertwine, overlap, and extend into one another to create a vibrant and dynamic whole. A work in which the portrait serves as a pretext for playing with color, geometry, and the deconstruction of the image.
