Let It Come

This abstract work by Johanne Rouleau features a dense vertical composition, created with a palette knife using thick, impasto strokes. The dominant colors are earthy shades of beige and brown, contrasted by vivid touches of red and turquoise, as well as areas of deep black. The thick texture and layered strokes create a visible relief, highlighting each of the artist’s brushstrokes. The piece exudes an atmosphere that is both intense and dynamic, evoking a shifting inner landscape.
