The Depth (2024)

The painting depicts large broken green lines in the background. In the foreground, small yellow lines that widen, and orange lines, red lines, mauve lines, blue lines, and small green lines. The work represents what a person holds within their mind. The canvas painting technique allowed me to bring out a feeling of knowledge around the painted broken lines. One of the distinctive attributes of these different colored lines is their dimension, particularly evolving. It is an abstract painting around the theme "knowledge." Experimentation led me to understand which color would go with another, how they follow each other. My production is fascinating and I did not focus on what my mind sees; I reproduced in an indefinable way something imagined within the human being. My intention is to shed light on these deep scaly holes with contrasts of light. I want to draw viewers into another dimension of illusion and to find in the gaze the true depth of their mind and its contribution to the world.
