Mickey—isn’t he the most famous mouse in the world? Of course he is, and my interpretation is meant to be a pure shot of pop culture energy! All smiles, my Mickey—with a mischievous look and wide-open eyes—this intergenerational icon takes center stage on this canvas with wild energy, where curves are everywhere. I reinterpret this illustrious mouse by playing with contrasts while staying true to its original color palette. The luminous azure blue background creates a dynamic interplay with the almost hypnotic depth of his large, textured ears.
