Coppery Eden (2026)

Éden cuivré (Copper Eden) evokes a place suspended between dream and reality, where the sky sets the horizon ablaze with a warm, enveloping light. Beneath this radiant star, a sailboat cuts through the restless sea, leaning into the wind as if drawn toward a luminous and uncertain elsewhere. The golden and copper metallic leaves, along with the shimmering fragments in the sky, contrast with the organic depth of the sea, shaped through pigments, resin, and the textured movement of the waves. The mineral shoreline grounds the scene in an almost tangible materiality, while the clouds drift through a calm yet surreal atmosphere. Through this work, the crossing becomes a symbol of momentum and perseverance. Copper Eden invites us to continue forward despite the turbulence, guided by a light that remains present on the horizon.
