Bowling Champion

Yabba Dabba Doo—long live prehistoric nostalgia, now in Neo-Pop style! I’ve taken the iconic Fred Caillou and incorporated him into my world. I played with maximum contrast by juxtaposing a raw, textured background with bold blocks of electric colors—a vibrant orange and a turquoise blue that really pop and, most importantly, stay true to the character’s color scheme. By taking on this pop culture icon, I’m once again tapping into our collective love for nostalgia. Movement is at the heart of my approach, much like Fred’s distinctive style during a game of bowling. I had fun breaking down his famous shout, which fits in here as a graphic element in its own right, while the shadow on the floor becomes a true visual signature. This is my way of fusing the spirit of cartoons with the codes of street art that collectors seek today. I designed this one-of-a-kind piece to bring a dose of raw energy, humor, and modernity to your collection.
