À fleurs de pensées II (2026)

This 2026 work is the second in a series of landscapes imagined by the painter. At first glance, it is the flowers that seem to vibrate with the vividness of their colors, yet they also react to their surroundings due to the use of iridescent or mirror-like colors. Then, as the viewer’s attention lingers, a myriad of tiny figures emerge—figures the artist calls “the Magnificent Ones”—which also spring from her imagination. An imagination populated by a multitude of artistic influences. Some of these influences are conscious and many others unconscious, but they all come together to form a whole throughout each work in this series, without being limited to it. The black outline that follows the color may evoke the aesthetic of comic books, creating narrative potential depending on the viewer. Far from wanting her creations to be anchored in a specific interpretation, the artist instead invites viewers to let their own imaginations run wild through a suggested image.
